Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will be instrumental in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance, supporting decision-making through financial insights, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the monthly close process for P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Maintain meticulous financial records for expenditures, receipts, and transactions.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Negotiate and establish favorable payment terms with new customers.
- Approve and oversee setup of new suppliers and customers, ensuring compliance.
- Perform and review account reconciliations and proactively address discrepancies.
- Lead FP&A functions including forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Provide strategic financial insights to leadership to guide business decisions.
- Oversee payroll administration, benefits processing, and new hire setups.
- Prepare and present cash flow forecasts and support annual budget development.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Review and approve expense reports and coordinate tax filings with external advisors.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting roles.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
