We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Tier 3 Technician to join a growing managed IT services team. This role serves as the escalation point for complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 or Tier 2 teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working across a wide range of technologies.

What you’ll do
Advanced technical support & escalation:
Act as the final escalation point for technical support issues across client environments.
Server & systems administration:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and administer:
- Windows Server environments (2012 R2 and newer)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
Migration projects:
Plan and execute complex email and server migrations, including on-prem to cloud or hybrid setups.
RMM management:
Configure, manage, and optimize Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platforms to ensure reliable and proactive system performance.
Collaboration & documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of client systems, procedures, and network configurations. Collaborate with project teams on new deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
After-hours support:
Participate in an on-call rotation and handle after-hours technical emergencies as required.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in technical support or system/network administration roles
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server (2012 R2–2022)
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory and domain migrations
- Server and email migrations (Exchange to M365, on-prem to cloud)
- RMM tools and management best practices
- Experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with:
- ConnectWise Manage / Automate
- NinjaOne RMM
- 3CX phone systems
- PowerShell scripting for automation
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA, or CompTIA Server+
