Development Operations Lead

Location: Remote — Philippines (collaborating daily with U.S. leadership and a globally distributed technical team)

Employment Type: Full-time

Help us bring structure, predictability, and excellence to a rapidly growing engineering organization. As the Development Operations Lead, you’ll serve as the Integrator for the Development Team within the EOS (Traction) framework—owning process, accountability, and execution discipline across a 9-person technical team. Your mission: create a high-performing system where commitments are met, quality is consistent, and work flows smoothly across time zones.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Permanent Work From Home
  • Paid Time Off
  • Monthly Performance Bonus
  • Annual Bonus
  • Health Allowance

What you’ll do

Operational Leadership & EOS Execution

  • Run the weekly L10: Rigorously facilitate Level 10 meetings, drive IDS (Identify–Discuss–Solve), ensure real resolution of systemic issues, and guarantee on-time completion of all action items.
  • Own the Scorecard: Define, track, and report on team-level KPIs—including Velocity, Rework Rate, QA Queue Time, and Rock completion—ensuring the team hits its numbers consistently.
  • Drive the 90-day plan: Maintain alignment to quarterly Rocks and ensure the team executes with discipline and predictability.

Process Enforcement & Quality Control

  • Implement and enforce the Requirements Quality Gate: Ensure no work enters development without complete, unambiguous requirements and acceptance criteria—directly reducing rework and technical thrash.
  • Standardize execution processes: Document, improve, and enforce the workflows and operating procedures used across Engineering, QA, and Deployment.

Flow Management Across the Value Stream

  • Manage work movement end-to-end: Coordinate developers, QA, and deployment to ensure smooth, continuous flow across multiple time zones.
  • Remove blockers rapidly: Identify bottlenecks early, escalate when needed, and ensure work keeps moving without delays.

Cross-functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with:
  • CTO (People/Technical Leadership) for resource alignment and technical direction.
  • PM/BA (Requirements & Specification) to maintain clarity and prevent misalignment.
  • CEO/Integrator for traction, accountability, and operational reporting.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years in software development operations, technical project management, or engineering leadership.
  • Experience working within EOS/Traction, Agile, or similar operational frameworks.
  • Strong command of execution discipline: scorecards, KPI tracking, and process enforcement.
  • Excellent ability to run structured meetings, create alignment, and drive accountability.
  • Comfort managing globally distributed engineering teams across time zones.
  • Strong analytical mindset with solid skills in reporting, metrics, and root-cause investigation.
  • Clear communication, high ownership, and a steady, process-driven approach under pressure.
