We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to lead the evaluation and underwriting of complex real estate investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, assist in development, and manage a diverse portfolio of assets. This leadership role is critical to executing successful investment strategies and delivering stakeholder value.


Benefits and Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling:
Develop and manage intricate Excel-based acquisition and development cash flow models.

Collaboration and Budgeting:
Coordinate closely with the Design + Construction team to maintain accurate development budgets and forecasts.

Market Analysis:
Conduct detailed analysis of market comparables to benchmark operations and determine exit strategies and values.

Investment Documentation:
Craft comprehensive investment memoranda and presentations that clearly communicate sophisticated investment opportunities.

Transaction Coordination:
Lead transaction closings by coordinating with capital partners, legal counsel, and title companies. Review settlement statements and ensure data integrity.

Portfolio Management:
Strategically monitor and manage portfolio assets, including evaluating recapitalizations and dispositions.

Stakeholder Presentations:
Present detailed investment rationales and strategic insights to senior team members and stakeholders.

Financial Projections:
Prepare and review quarterly cash flow projections and provide advanced financial reporting as needed.


Working Hours:
Must be available to work from 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Pacific Time (Los Angeles hours).


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in real estate analysis, preferably focused on new development or construction equity investments

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university; Real Estate or Finance degree required. MBA or advanced degree is preferred


Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and real estate valuation skills

  • Experience in real estate, investment banking, or private equity is highly preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Excellent attitude, teamwork, and strong work ethic

  • Ability to independently manage workload, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
