What You’ll Do

Accounting & Finance

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
     
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
     
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts with precision.
     
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and reporting requirements.
     
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
     

Audit Support & Documentation

  • Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
     
  • Track and reconcile client contracts, payments, and billing agreements.
     
  • Drive process improvements across internal and client billing systems.
     

Month-End & Year-End Close

  • Lead monthly and annual close activities—reconciliations, allocations, depreciation, and expense review.
     
  • Support timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance efforts.
     


What You’ll Bring

Experience & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
     
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in professional services or nonprofit consulting.
     
  • Proven experience managing payroll, billing, and client/contractor invoicing.
     
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and compliance standards.
     

Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and Excel.
     
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
     
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
     
  • Clear, collaborative communication across teams and departments.
