About the Role
We are urgently hiring a Senior Corporate Accountant to support a U.S.-based company with full-cycle accounting, payroll, and financial operations. The ideal candidate has deep QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) expertise and hands-on experience with U.S. GAAP, U.S. payroll, and state/federal compliance. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- U.S. Accounting Operations: Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Payroll Administration: Process U.S. payroll using ADP and Paylocity (experience with these platforms preferred but not required); ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations, including taxes, deductions, and filings.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports using Phantom and Qvinci for financial consolidation and reporting (experience with these systems preferred but not required); provide insights to management and external stakeholders.
- Tax Support: Assist in U.S. tax preparation and filing, including 1099s, W-2s, and state/local tax requirements.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee vendor payments, billing, collections, and expense tracking.
- Audit & Compliance: Support year-end audits, maintain documentation for compliance, and assist external auditors as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps and propose automation or workflow enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with HR, operations, and leadership to align financials with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience supporting U.S.-based clients or entities.
- Advanced QuickBooks proficiency (Online and/or Desktop).
- Direct bookkeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. payroll, and federal/state tax compliance.
- Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations for U.S. companies.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working U.S. business hours and communicating directly with U.S. stakeholders.
